Writing
Analysis Projects:
Through the analysis of countless writers of countless traditions, an attempt to find a common thread via means of a novel formulation of logic beyond truth and falsity is made to find a logic which can describe the reason for truth and falsity. Therefore laying a groundwork for what it means to have a language or arithmetic system in and of itself, and what exactly these are utilized for as a means for communication, and where the limitations of languages as we know them begin, and where this form of logic can pick up the pieces and attempt to bridge gaps which appear in many authors' works. These forms are found in every instance of written language, and within every instance of quantitative reason in general, and to dilute them is to pursue some very long stagnant traditions, and some which have in the past few decades begun to revive themselves slowly but surely.
The different portions of this specific project can be found in the following on-going portions of analysis:
G. F. W. Hegel Gilles Deleuze Immanuel Kant Socrates Plato David Hume Gottfried Leibniz Henri Bergson Sophocles Albert Camus Euclid William James Johannes Kepler Thomas Aquinas Martin Heidegger Jon von Neumann John Locke Carl Jung Ludwig Wittgenstein Aristotle Ernst Mach John Milton Johannes Goethe William Blake Francis Bacon Emanuel Swedenborg Christian Valentinus Andreae Arthur Koestler Karl Marx Jacob Boehme Henry Agrippa Hans-Georg Gamader Werner Heisenberg Friedrich Nietzsche etc.
And many more names which for time and posterity will not be mentioned, but as well have been and continue to be written about. This project spans at the current moment 550,000 words worth of commentary and analysis, and this number will surely continue to grow as time goes on, and as more people are analyzed, and as I personally begin to explore more of Eastern Philosophy, as while I am armed to the teeth on names and concepts, I have not as of yet explored much of the traditions. Of the writing projects which are mentioned here, this is by far the most intensive, and as well is by far the largest, but in time the necessity of these notes will not be in the absolutely monstrous length attributed to this project, but in the fact that inevitably they will hopefully be unnecessary to the final product, which is the next project listed.
Logic Project:
The culmination of the notes of the analysis projects, this project will take a form not dissimilar from Euclid's Elements, wherein this form of logic which has been created through the notetaking process will be diluted and made easily applicable and understood through a group of postulates, common notions, etc., and which can be rigorously proven to express language and arithmetic, wherein the logic itself will leave an open question as to how to further deconstruct its essence. This further deconstruction will be the next stage of note taking beyond the first and much more rigorous one, and will most certainly focus on much more "scientific" means of inquiry, such that an attempt to divulge data out of these projects and their consequent results will be made.
Deja-vu and Dream Journaling Projects:
A project much more passively enacted. This project will focus on multiple things: first among them is studying the occurrence of Deja-vu (which I myself experience around 10-20 times a day, in varying degrees of strength), as well as of their seemingly inherent relationship to Synesthesia (which I as well have), wherein certain colors have been proven with around 100 data points to preliminarily correlate to particular occurrences (such that yellow is paired with certain cognitive sense stimulus, or reds, or blues, etc.) These projects make distinct another question of the mind which has recently gained traction: and that is of aphantasia, as I as well have aphantasia, and the three of these combined have lead to some incredibly strange and bizarre occurrences, which seem to warrant their own progressive exploration in tandem to the writing, which both seem to lend to one another a unique scepticism of that other, and which leads to a more marbled appreciation of the general aim of learning for myself. The triad of these three, and their relationship to dreams and sense-perception are the main purpose of this project, and one I hope can lead to different explorations of potential avenues of cognition in different parts of science which have been little explored or introduced to our modern life (biophotonics, the recent and not so recent quantum entanglement news, etc.)
Dissertation Projects:
For the time being these will be focused on musical projects, including one involving a piece by Ida Gotkovsky, and another involving orchestral saxophone excerpts, and both of which will continue to develop and build into academic papers, which will ideally be utilized for exposure to the world of saxophone, and can continue to build more connections between myself and the academic world of music, though my own pursuits run quite counter to most of the general vogue of academic music for the time being.
Original Writing Projects:
While these are all labors of love, the original writing is something which I find to be incredibly enjoyable, especially in being able to create a world in literature, exploring what makes those old masters of the different forms such great artists and writers, but also the experiences which were able to inform their literature and prose. If nothing else, the other projects serve as quite a gateway to promoting this experience of study and then application through creating beauty in the best forms of art.
